Elize Massard da Fonseca

I am Brazilian, from Rio de Janeiro. I like to spend my free time with my family and friends. My parents live on the campus of a centenary university in Brazil, UFRRJ, that specializes in agricultural and animal sciences and we enjoy having barbecues from time to time. I like to go jogging frequently and I read quite a lot. I read everything from cereal boxes to journal articles... and newspapers to romances. I currently live in São Paulo and love the atmosphere in this metropolitan, diverse, and vibrant city!

I always enjoy interacting with people and learning about new places. Living abroad for so many years has given me the opportunity to meet people from different backgrounds, making me more "globally aware". Finally, I have an honest concern in making the world a better place and believe that studying and improving politics and public policy are the most effective way to help achieve this.

My career aims are to continue analyzing government decisions and advocate for evidence-based policies.
